Board and advisory
Who can I get as a non-exec with digital experience?
Steph Hamill takes non-executive and board advisory seats in her own name, bringing digital and AI work she has built and run herself. Business appointments are paid. She works only with businesses serious enough to pay for the seat.

A different kind of seat.
- The whole commercial systemMost boards hold deep expertise in one part of the engine. Steph reads all of it at once, and sees where value is being left on the table.
- Digital tested against the numbersA digital or AI plan is tested against the figures before the board signs it off, not after.
- Built, not only advised onShe built an AI scanner that read 4,312 UK public contract notices on its first run and selected the ones worth a bid. It has run every day since.

The fee.
Business appointments are paid. The fee is agreed when the seat is defined, and it reflects the size of the business and the time the seat takes.

Who this is not for.
- An unpaid seat in a businessIf the business cannot pay for the seat, it is not the right moment for one.
- A name for the websiteThe seat is a contribution to the decisions, and not a logo on the page.
- A full-time executiveA non-executive seat is part-time and independent by design.

How to start.

Questions.
- Is it a paid role?Yes. Business appointments are paid, with the fee agreed when the seat is defined.
- What is the difference between a non-executive director and an advisor?A non-executive director gives independent oversight on the board. An advisor is a senior thinking partner for a board or a founder.
- Do you only work in the UK?No. The base is London and the work is international.
- How much time does a seat take? The time is agreed when the seat is defined, because it depends on the business and the decisions in front of the board.
